The number of parts is reduced and it is easy to assemble.
Hellcat's powerful style and panel lines are also reproduced firmly by capturing the atmosphere of the actual machine.
In addition, the auxiliary fuel tank equipped on the body is also reproduced.
The kit is a set of parts for two machines.
There are 3 types of markings.
VF-27 Carrier Princeton
VF-9 Carrier Essex
VF-4
A detailed painting explanation drawing is also included.
The F6F Hellcat was developed, deployed and operated by the US Navy during World War II.
Developed as a successor to the F4F, it first flew in 1942 and began operation in 1943.
The engine is equipped with a 2000 horsepower class Pratt & Whitney R-2800.
The maximum speed was about 600km / h.
Armed with 12.7 mm 50 caliber M2 Browning heavy machine guns in the main wing, 3 on one wing, 6 in total.
It was also possible to equip air-to-ground rockets and bombs.
When the operation started in 1943, it was mainly active in the Pacific theater.
Recorded numerous battle records with many ace pilots.
After World War II, it was in operation until the 1950s and was retired.
