Jagdgeschwader 77 fought everywhere: North Africa, Norway, over the Channel during the Battle of Britain and the Blitz, in Italy, in the Caucasus, over Greece, over Crete and the Mediterranean, and in the gray skies over the Soviet Union. Everywhere they went, the wings of Messerschmitt Bf 109s darkened the sky and Allied planes fell burning to earth. By May of 1942, over 2,000 kills had been claimed by JG77. As the war wore on, however, the best pilots of the unit were slowly eliminated by rising Allied air superiority. Kit features two sets of decals.
