To help harass Nazi shipping, Great Britain equipped the Mosquito, one of the fastest pre-jet engine aircraft in the world, with an auto-loading 57 mm anti-tank gun. The "balsa bomber" excelled in this role just as it had in every other task given to it. The high-caliber, high-velocity gun was perfect for punching through the deck armor of U-boats and surface ships, allowing Mosquito fighter-bomber squadrons to inflict serious damage on the Kriegsmarine. This kit features new nose and 57 mm gun pieces.
