Decals for two RAF aircraft:
Mustang Mk III 315 Squadron, Coolham, England June 1944
Mustang Mk III 213 Squadron, Leverano, Italy July 1944
Without the Mustang the war in the skies of Europe could not have been won. It was the Mustang's long range that enabled Allied bombers to reach deep into Axis territory and crush German industry. Over 800 Mustangs were given the designation Mk.III and put into RAF service where they helped expand the daylight bombing offensive. As fighter losses mounted, Luftwaffe formations were decimated and unable to replace losses due to the loss of industry.
