Long-range fighter aircraft manufactured by Mitsubishi Aircraft Company, a part of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, and operated by the Imperial Japanese Navy from 1940 to 1945.

F4U Corsair

American fighter aircraft, designed as a carrier based aircraft but its difficult carrier landing performance rendered it unsuitable for Navy use. The Corsair thus came to and retained prominence in its area of greatest deployment: land based use by the US Marines.
