The VT250F, overwhelmingly supported by riders from the time it went on sale, underwent a full model change in February 1984. The style of the motorcycle put into daily use the "World's Honda" racing technology that remains greatly utilized even now. It was equipped with a computer-parsed design square frame, a front 16-inch and rear 17-inch aluminum boomerang comstar wheels, newly designed inboard disc, tank and cowls designed to form a single contour and meters with a laser-like feel. By lightening the weight of the parts used and cutting resistance it improved response and created output of 40ps, yet also sought ease in riding, allowing for the second generation VT to be a clear evolution of the first generation model and securing even more users.
