It could be supposed that at the moment of battle of Kursk in the summer of 1943 the Soviet infantry was weaker than the Wehrmacht’s infantry with technical means, but it had been totally compensated with incredible courage. Furthermore, the Russian army’s old tradition of self-organisation was kept: even after losing of all officers troops were able to fight with the same stubbornness. The figures and equipment of this kit represent an unit of the Soviet Infantry at the time of the Battle of Kursk 1943.
